Jim's instructional training manual and DVD offers a no nonsense approach for properly learning the Olympic lifts. This is as close as you can get to having a good coach available in person to teach you the lifts.

Although the manual is a great way to get started learning the Olympic lifts, we highly recommend purchasing the DVD as well in order to see the dynamics of lifts in real time.

About Jim Schmitz

Jim has been a fixture in the national and international weightlifting community for decades. Olympic coach, past President of the US Weight Lifting Federation, and of the International Weight Lifting Federation's Scientific and Research Committee among other endeavors has brought Jim to every Olympic and major weight lifting event for the past 40 years. Jim has also won his share of competitions. He has also owned and operated the Sports Palace on Valencia Street since 1968; training and helping 1000's get in shape, get stronger, and even get to the Olympics.
